It is with a heavy heart that I show my Signs of Spring for the past week. Yes, it is pou-ring once again... Now I've really had enough!!!
So, that is of my chest. On to other matters. Daughter M. left yesterday (at 5am!) for Yosemite National Park. She texted us somewhere between Fresno and Yosemite Village that "California was so cool!!!"
She will have a great week in the outdoors, hiking (both by day and by night) and stuff that you do at a camp. They're sleeping in yurts and their female chaperone is completely terrified of bear encounters. (I would be too!)
G. left this morning for his week at Camano Island (cabins on a beach, tons of rain in the forecast: fun! (not)) and C. is starting his screen printing at school this morning. I dropped him off at 8:30 just now and then made a quick stop at my dentist's office to have my tongue checked out. She couldn't quite find out what is wrong with it but blames it on the heavy doses of anti-biotics I was on after the surgery. She suggested to give it a few more days. It is just very sensitive and has little bumbs on it and feels 'cottony' and bla, bla, bla, stuff you don't want to know about. It is improving though, so I'm sure I'll be allright. I'm just getting a little tired of all the going-ons in my mouth....
I think I'm going to make myself some hot-chocolate and do some little things around the house etc. Hope you all have a great week!
Jaja, die lente komt eraan, ondanks de regen! En op je dochter ben ik jaloers, ik wil dolgraag nog eens naar Californië. Jij ook een fijne week!
ReplyDeleteUggh! I am so sick of this rain too!
I'll trade your rain for my fresh snow....yuck and your poor tongue!
