Aaaah, winter at last...
Yesterday we didn't have any more accumulation but the 4 inches of the day before were plenty to start with. This morning we have gained another inch but there are 12 more inches in the forecast overnight and tomorrow morning! I can't wait to see all that... They're calling it "Snowmageddon!"
This is what Miss M. (in black with the blonde ponytail) was busy with yesterday afternoon with our neighbor and her friends. (all several years younger than Miss. M.)
This morning Mister Snowman was leaning precariously backwards and now he is completely collapsed on the ground. I guess the temperatures were just a tad bit on the high side for him to maintain his life... (no pictures of that, sorry)
For comparison sake: Miss M. is about 5 foot 9 or 10 inches tall (= 1.78m) so that snow man is pretty darn tall!

Otherwise today it really feels like a Holiday. I've been working a bit on my Photoshop classes, have painted all the chairs (8!) for their first coat of proper paint (I did the two coats of primer yesterday), Mister G. is baking bread plus he is preparing a Tandoori chicken in the crock pot for tonight and the kids were playing Mario Kart on the Wii together. (!)
Miss M. is now playing outside in the snow since we actually had our first snow day (so no school) today and tomorrow will be another one. Added to the long weekend we already had, they will probably have at least 6 days off in a row, not bad at all. {smile}

PS I received some reports of people not being able comment on my posts ( a white screen popped up) so I have now changed back to the original settings. This means that I cannot do that fun direct reply thing that Google (or Blogger) recently came up with, just so that you know...
Of course you can always send me an email with my direct link in the sidebar: easy peasy!

I'm so happy that you got some snow....I always loved how a little snow there shut everything down almost.
