Swedish X-Mas Cheer...

Yesterday I had the pleasure to re-meet 'the Swedish lady' who I first met in a local store just before the summer. She invited me over for 'kaffe och kakor' and the two hours just whizzed by. We spoke both in English, Dutch (her husband's and mine language) and some Swedish.

She turned out to be quite the crafter: look at all that she made.....

She also had these lovelies hanging on her walls...

The left one was made by her and on the right you see
one of late grandmother's tea towels which I just loved!
That was a fun morning and we will certainly meet again!  {smile}

  1. Hoi!

  2. So nice for you to have a new friend! You must have a lot to talk about! And in Swedish - me like...
    Kram, Monica

  3. How lovely to meet a kindred spirit. Her horses are especially endearing.

How wonderful to hear from you!
