I did just watch the first episode of the BBC series called 'Call the Midwife' and I thought it was fabulous!!!!
I think this series already came out in Europe at the beginning of the year, but here in the States we always lag behind a bit when it comes to these marvelous productions. If you haven't seen it yet, go find it now! I laughed and cried at the same time and I haven't even mentioned the fabulous vintage clothing and fabrics yet: Yay! for another fab BBC production! {smile}
(And Yay! for modern medicine, because boy, those times were rough, to say the least...)

It's a great series, we watched it earlier in the year, I'm really looking forward to the next series! Ada :)

I'm loving this series too. We're a few further along than you. The one where the delightful Miranda Hart joins the cast is wonderful. My husbands granny delivered five huge sons in her front room in a Scottish village in the forties. She was under five foot tall and they were huge babies. How lucky we are now!
