Signs of Spring, Week 5...

I'm afraid I don't have too many Signs of Spring to show you this week. It rained, and rained and rained some more. The two times that the sun came out for a minute or so I ran out and shot these pictures for you...

The weatherman this morning said that March only had FOUR days without precipitation, can you believe that?  {not smile}
Well, to keep things in a positive light: things can only get better right?

The garden is growing like crazy though and if you look closely you can always find prettiness. Just look at these blossoms of our Cherry Tree:

Gorgeousness!!!  {smile}

In the mean time 50% of our little family is away from home this week. Master C. is on his way to California for a week of crazy college visits (this time next year we'll be waiting for all those colleges (and others) to hear if he made it in or not: stress!)
Mr. G. is chaperoning 8 students at a camp on Camano Island where they will be building boats and do lots of nature stuff.
Miss M. is taking a Letterpress camp in Seattle but will be home with me every night, which means that I have to do all the driving to and fro from school... (bleh)

The forecast is looking remarkably better by the end of this week which would be awesome since that is when our Spring Break starts!  {smile}

Here is a sneak peak of a new dress I'm working on. It is almost done!

  2. So you got all the precipitation in March (smile)! Here we had only two rainy days and got 15 mm all in all! It's so dry here!
    It looks almost like summer in your pictures, imagine cherryblossoms - wonderful!
    Have a nice week!

  3. Beautiful pictures with waterdrops on the cherry blossoms! I say like Monica, it's dry here, too, but I think there is enough water somewhere down deep, so no worries. Aggie
