Today I have spent quietly at home while nursing a bladder infection. Don't worry, nothing awful. Thank goodness I realized very early on what was going on so I called the doctor who in his turn called in the antibiotic prescription and Mr. G. picked it up after work yesterday. I've been drinking almost two liters of cranberry juice and lots of tea in between and am just enjoying some quiet time here at home...
During this quiet time I read some blogs, did some sewing, made pictures of the sewing and then edited them in Photoshop, watched some tv etc. Very nice I must say...
So here are some pics of the tunic I showed you in my last post. When I was writing that post I think that I had already decided not to use the Jabot and most people seemed to agree with me so off it went... I added a little fun embroidery stitch around the neck line instead. (don't know if you can see that in the picture, (upper right hand corner) but it is there...)
Just after I finished the photo editing I realized that I had forgotten to show the side view, so here it is:
I bought this material at Joann's sometime last year and it was actually quite expensive, but the drape is so nice and the fabric feels so soft. Perfect for a spring / summer afternoon!
Of course it is pouring out at the moment, but last weekend we had a lot of sunshine and even some warmth! We spent several hours in the garden and look what I found underneath some moss: little eggs! I have a suspicion that they are frogs' eggs but I am not certain. Pretty cool though!
With the sun shining so bright I just had to take a few more pictures of the tulips that I had bought a few days earlier. Enjoy some more Pretty Pastels!
Sorry your poorly..hope you are all better soon, and LOVE your tunic, clever you :-)x
