With all the recent rainfall and snow melting in the mountains, some flooding occurred once again in our valley. Yesterday, whilst on my way to Little Bit, I stopped to take some photos along the way. One of the main roads across the valley is still closed this morning, but will hopefully open again later today.
We are never in any direct danger so don't you worry. It (the flooding) has just become one of those things that is part of our lives in this area...
In the mean time, I'm working on finishing this over-sized and boxy sweater. The pattern is called 'Acorn' and is designed by Junko Okamoto. The yarn is Brooklyn Tweed's Shelter in Snowbound (grey), Camper (pink) and Newsprint (black & white marl). If you click on the link then you can see I've changed the colorwork area drastically. The acorns just weren't speaking to me somehow...
I'm loving this slightly different design. (then again, I always enjoy things that are 'slightly different...') {smile}
