Last Friday Master C. and his girlfriend Miss K. drove over from Spokane to enjoy a long weekend over here. (Labor Day)

He had long wanted to show us the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island and we decided to go on Saturday. The weather started out in pretty bad Pacific Northwest fashion: misty and rain. But, whilst enjoying some excellent coffee in Poulsbo, the clouds parted and the sun came out. So much so, we were able to enjoy the afternoon in our shirtsleeves!

And this was the weather once going back on the ferry: just fabulous!
