A New 'Friend'...

Yesterday, in a friend's closet, I found this fabulous dress form!

I had been looking on Craig's List (like Market Place in Holland) for a while and I even looked for new ones, but boy, those things are expensive. And then, all of a sudden, I found my 'new friend'. I am just borrowing her for now to see how our relationship develops, but somehow I think she will fit in just fine...

Also at that same friend's closet's house I received this little light blue melamine x-mas present:
How sweet it looks and it feels right at home with my other tea things on our kitchen counter...

Today is Thursday, it is raining a bit (first time in weeks I think) and it is very cosy inside the home. We're in the middle of finals and tomorrow will be the last day of that messy stress.

And then.... blissful nothingness!

A visit to the dentist for the kids, a visit to a play with Miss M. ("Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", I know all the lyrics!) and that is all that we have planned. A quiet x-mas time after the craziness that started early August. (called school/ work) Time to breathe and more time to fiddle around with things like Photoshop...

Bliss!

Liefs Lupineke
