Salvaging in Seattle...

Towards Pioneer Square

Near Safeco Field

Seattle Skyline
A cool motel that we passed on our way...

Starbucks headquarters, Safeco Field  (Mariners' Baseball)

Today G. and I drove all the way to Seattle to explore a couple of salvage companies. We didn't buy anything but is was great to have a look around. The skies were blue but it was still pretty cold so a good day to spend inside the car. (all the above pictures were taken in the car by me while G. was driving)

Here is some of the stuff we saw in the warehouses...
Cool clawfoot tub and lots of handles...

Tubs, sinks, toilets...

A sci-fi shower!
There wasn't much furniture though and I think I would have liked that better, but at least now we know....

  1. Wat leuk om eens wat foto's van Seattle te zien, voor mij een totaal onbekende stad! En zo te horen hebben jullie ongeveer hetzelfde weertype als hier in Nl, alleen mist hier het zonnetje :( Groetjes van Lupineke

  2. Telling by the pics it must have been like a hundred years since I was there, the skyline looks a little different, for sure.
You have the blue sky, still, that's great. We don't any longer, too sad!
